Lately, I have been doing a lot of testing with Silverlight as the front end for various Microsoft products such as MOSS, CRM, Commerce Server and it has been great having the horse power and flexibility to run all these guys on one machine while being a single Control-Arrow away from a Mac desktop to conduct testing, graphics editing and conversion.

Right now I have my Mac Pro setup with a single TB drive that houses all my virtual machines. I’d like to get 2 more and RAID-5 it. With 16 GB of RAM and 4 CPUs I can run 3 virtual machines very comfortably at once. Every Silverlight junkie should make the Mac Pro his home workstation…but that is just my $0.02.
